The Sun & Earth

The sun has many lovers

She loves all of them equally

The lovers don't necessarily absorb

the true essence of the value

sun adds to their lives

Except for Earth

Earth sees sun for what she is

Earth has evolved himself

with every breath sun has bestowed at him

Earth is evolving

in the hope

that maybe someday,

the sun will see him

for how he radiates

in her presence

All Earth wants

is to be closer to sun

But the earth knows

that too close and he will burn himself up

But Earth is ready

for that

Earth knows

the sun deserves the absolute best;

the absolute valorous

A valorous death it would be

for him...
